Everything you'd
reasonably ask.
Real answers to the questions we hear every week — from first-time founders and Series-B operators alike.
FAQ list
How is it possible to ship a production website in 3 days?
We work in time-boxed sprints with a ruthlessly scoped brief, a pre-built component system, and a single senior team. Discovery happens before the clock starts. Day one is design, day two is build, day three is polish and launch.
What happens if we need revisions?
Every sprint includes two structured review rounds — one at end of day one (design), one at end of day two (build). Post-launch you have a 14-day refinement window for copy tweaks, small adjustments, and iterations. No extra invoice.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Frequently — most of our clients are operators, not engineers. Our discovery call will tell you honestly if a sprint is the right shape, or whether a longer engagement fits better. We say no when we should.
Who owns the code and the designs?
You do — fully, on delivery. You receive the repository, the Figma file, and any assets with an unrestricted commercial license. No lock-in. No hidden monthly fees.
What is actually not included in a sprint?
We don't write long-form copy, produce bespoke photography, or manage multi-week growth campaigns. For anything outside the sprint, we plug in partners we trust or hand you a clean baton.
What if you miss the deadline?
If we don't ship on time, you don't pay the balance. We've never had to invoke that clause in 140+ sprints — but it exists, in writing, in every contract.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. If you have an existing brand system, we align to it. If you need new art direction, that's included in every sprint tier — we build a compact design system either way.
Do you offer maintenance afterward?
Not as a retainer, but yes as a package. We offer 1-day tune-ups and 'refresh sprints' for clients every few quarters. Most of our clients run their own site after hand-off — the code is intentionally legible.
Where are you based?
Remote, split between Lisbon and New York. We work with clients globally — our process is built around timezone-friendly asynchronous reviews with one live call per day.
How do I book a sprint?
Book a free 30-min consultation via the contact form. If we're a fit, we'll send a written brief and a slot. 50% deposit secures the sprint; the remaining 50% is due on delivery.
What happens if our needs change mid-sprint?
Small scope changes inside the original brief are absorbed. Material changes extend the sprint by a fixed day-rate. We talk about it openly the moment it surfaces — not at the end.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, routinely. Send yours with the initial brief, or use our standard mutual NDA — we countersign within a business day.
